Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was born February 20th 1902 in San Fransisco. He was a photographer and an environmentalist. Ansel was born when his parents were forty and was supported in a large way by his father. He fell and broke his nose when he was little because he was shaken by the after shock of an earthquake. Because of his oddly shaped nose, certain level of genius, and shyness, made it hard for him to fit in at schools, so he ended up being home schooled and earned a diploma. At a young age Ansel taught himself to read music and how to play piano. He intended that playing piano would be his profession up until he was about 20. Then he realized that photography was more his thing. A large amount of Ansel's time was spent at the Golden Gate Bridge and at Yosemite. He was married to Virginia best and had two children with her. In 1927, his first fully visualized photograph called Monolith was taken.

The following is a shot taken by Ansel Adams. Brilliant.

Oh.. Hey there.. My name is Archibald.. I don't get a whole lot of people to talk to since I was an accident and my family abandoned me. You see, I was supposed to be flat like the rest of the walls, but alas I ended up as a group of holes that was named Archibald.. and then abandoned by my family out of sheer embarrassment.... My favorite past time is when I don't have to cry myself to sleep at night... Just kidding! I actually love to organize my collection of 764.33 oranges! For you see, I am your local congressman! I also perform baptisms in an alleyway near you as a priest because I am just so darn holey. My hidden talent is to strike an attractive pose on command! I can see that you caught me doing just that in the picture above! Oh.. you don't think so... Ok well fine! I guess i will just go back to organizing my oranges! Goodbye!
